A not so crap second night

I had a feeling yesterday that all the props I had so liberally scattered around my plays without a second’s thought - props I had just assumed the actors would deal with - were all coming back to haunt me. A kind of karmic revenge of the props...

But then last night they started to become my friends. Mainly through the help of a very small but very attentive and very lovely audience.

I got so relaxed I forgot to check the presence of a very essential prop and so somewhat bungled the creation of the world.... but somehow that, too, could be turned into a source of pleasure.

The feared reviewer wrote something very beautiful and full of understanding, too.

And tonight will bring something different. Tonight will be a step into a new unknown...

And I still need to practice with the tablecloth.
